NEW YORK (AP) — Cursive writing is looping back into style in schools across the country after a generation of students who know only keyboarding, texting and printing out their words longhand.

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) — There are squiggly lines that when strung together, without lifting your pencil off the paper, create letters and words. This style of writing is known as cursive writing.
