A lot of things happened whilst creating this drawing, meaning I ended up putting it down and coming back to it over a six month period… far longer than I would ever want to spend on a single drawing. But it did mean that when it came to this moment, finally finishing it felt so much more momentous, and like so much more of an achievement.
